Dear Reference Group Members

An opportunity has arisen for someone to represent the Cumbria Children & Young People's Voluntary Sector Reference Group on the LSCB Policy & Procedures sub-group and an application form is attached for this position together with terms of reference for the sub-group.

If you are interested in representing the third sector and the Reference Group at the LSCB Policy and Procedures sub-group please can you complete the attached application form and return it to me by Friday 21 April 2017

I am attaching the role guidelines for representatives and would remind you that the role is to represent the third sector (not your individual organisation) and you must be prepared to attend meetings regularly, submit reports and be prepared to engage with other members of the sector to ensure a two-way flow of information between the sector and the Board. The appointed representative must also attend Reference Group meetings regularly or be prepared to do so.

Course Background:

This course is aimed at anyone working with children and young people who see their role as one which helps young people develop resilience; for example: youth workers, school nurses, children centre staff, teachers, residential care staff, sports workers, uniformed services etc.
